I am building a new house. I got cream tile 18in's and silver little squares that go between ever other tile I got it at expo center. I got linen grout but now I think it might be to light.How does silver sound Or does anyone have another idea.I got maple cabinets with glass and staggered ss app tks in advance

How about a really light gray? That wouldn't glare as much as white, and it would look good with the silver.

If you use a grout that is darker than your tile, you will create a whole lot of pattern - a grid pattern that will dominate your space - keep your group the same color as the tile....I'm not even sure about the silver inserts...I'd keep the floor completely neutral.

Agreed. Not only does too much pattern make a space look smaller, but it can make for a tougher resale down the road.

I would use grout that is a close match to the larger tiles. Mix a small amount of the grout power up, let it dry on a scrap piece and see how well it matches. If it doesn't match, exchange it for a different color.
