Default Need a nice green color

For my formal living room. I will also use it in my adjoining dining room on the top portion, above the chair rail. I have very warm furniture in the dining room...like a walnut/cherry mixed together. The formal living room has a khaki color couch.
My entire home is warm earth tones, so I would like to keep this theme. Other colors in my home are Powell Buff (which is the entry way and is adjoining my formal living room), Blonde in my family room, Sand Dollar in my half bath...So very earthy.

Any ideas? Greens are so hard! I once did Pickle in an old kitchen and it was awful!

GREEN APPLE! Your best bet is to do the samples on the walls. Different light at different times of the day will give off different hues.

Check out Hampshire Gray HC-101 from the Benjamin Moore Historical Collection. We have it in our kitchen and it definitely appears more green than than gray or brown. I think it would look great in a formal atmosphere and would work well with the khaki couch.

Funny, as I just picked this as a possible choice. It looks nice and bright yet earthy

Okay, I just tried to attach a photo of the color I mentioned. Not sure if it will work, so I'll check in a bit.

I finally got some pics of Sherwin William's Ryegrass. Pics were taken in late afternoon. The color inside the picture frame molding is Shagreen which is one color lighter on the strip.
