Default Best Brand of Interior Paint??

What is your favorite brand of interior paint? We are not wanting to save money necessarily, we want it to last and to have a gorgeous color that we dont have to apply 4 coats of.

Regardless of brand, if you want it to last it's in the prep work! And as far as color- With electronic color matching you can have any color in the known universe. You don't have to use a color from a swatch.

Sherwin Williams Duration or Benjamin Moore Aura are the best. I had both used in my home recently and they are gorgeous!! They are pricier than others but it is well worth it. And I only had to pay the painters for one coat, as opposed to 2 or 3 I have paid for in the past.

Lowes -
Valspar - my favorite
Olympic - 2nd favorite - lower in price but NOT a cheap paint.

If I'm doing a whole house I use Olympic - if just a room I may spring for Valspar.

I love it too! It's my absolute favorite. Rich pigment, zero VOC.

Volatile Organic Compounds: here's a link since they cover way more details than I ever could! Organic Gases | Indoor Air | US EPA
I had an nasty allergic reaction to paint fumes a years back and I began searching out low VOC paints back in the 90's, now lots of paint manufacturers make low or Zero VOC paints...(and to think I used to paint houses for a living in the 80's, never bothered me back then)
The company that makes Aura and licenses it to Benjamin Moore is in my town here in Ca. which is how I found them in the first place. Their pigments are very strong it's great paint.
