Default Roof color choice for light-ish grey house, dark blue shutters

Hello all,
I need to have my roof re-shingled and I have a bungalow with a charcoal grey roof currently. The siding is grey and it's a lighter grey tone...Dark blue shutters- and only one set of them facing the street....
My roofer says my house will look great with Weathered Wood shingles....especially as I live by the water....I think like a thunderstorm grey would work with my siding. I don't want to make any errors here so your advice and opinion is helpful!

CertainTeed - Colorview

not sure which brand he uses.. but on the gaf and certainteed websites, there is a design tool which allows you to choose a house style, then play with roof color, siding color, ect....so you can see how the weathered wood would look... I tried it out with that tool, a ranch home with gray siding and weathered wood roof, and it looked good.......but try it out!

I agree with the weathered wood, as that is stylistically appropriate for a bungalow.

I think weathered wood would be very nice. I have it on my home and in our area it seems to be the builder's choice de jour lol Architectural shingles on your bungalow would be too nice if you haven't already planned to put them on! I have timberline from one of the big box stores and they have just made my little cracker box home charming. There is a touch of gray/blue/tan in these shingles. I have noticed that they do match well with most paint colors, thus the builders LOVE it lol Also, this color would not limit you if you decide to paint your home another color in the future. Good luck! I would love to see pics
