HI everyone. I know I keep asking a lot of questions about my dining room- I am having a hard time figuring out what to do with it. Right now, its 17 feet by 15 feet. We might, in a couple of years take a couple of feet from the length-add to kitche-so I would have 15 by 15. I was looking at round tables-hard to find a very large round-so I am now looking at a company called DINEC who makes a 60 inch by 100 inch 1 pc tablethey say it seats 8-10 no leaves. WHat size buffet do you get with 100 inch long? Thanks again.
I would think a buffet that is between 4 and 5 feet long would be in proportion to your table. You may beed additional furniture on that wall that the buffet is on - are there windows or doors on that wall? If it is an unbroken wall that the buffet will be placed on, you may need additional furniture...I have an upholstered chair on my dining room - it fills an empty corner. Again, a picture would help.
easiest way is to open a photobucket.com account, upload pix, and then post thumbnails from there.......your 12yo will know how to do it, DD had to teach me!
Our room is 18'x15' and our buffet is 9' long (table is 120".)
We initially were going to buy a 7' buffet that we found on Ebay (antiques store with an Ebay store.) When my husband went to RI to purchase and pick it up, he stumbled upon the 9' buffet and mirror. We were sold!!!
I'm still looking for more pieces for that room (large satin backed vitrine and a pair of commodes) and one of my walls is useless because it's french doors and windows.
