younglisa, I've been in awe of your work from the time you started the awesome off-the-grid thread. How wonderful to know that you have other projects! I cant wait for those photos!

I got the granite at a small hole-in-the-wall place here in Houston. A friend in the remodeling business suggested it; I'd never have known about it otherwise. I'm still recovering from a stroke three years ago and have to do all my shopping on the internet.

beachmel, I must have searched 40 hours on the internet for that vanity. I was actually just looking for something small enough to fit the bathrooms and lucked into finding that nice sink. Below is the link to where I got it. The current cost is $650, which may sound like a lot but was worth it for the upgrade effect it had on the small bathrooms:
Fairmont Designs 108-V26 Manor Collection 26in. Bath Vanity & Sink

Home Depot has similar vanities now with the "apron" sink. The below one costs $250 has good reviews:
Pegasus Valenza 27 In. Vanity, China Top, and Mirror Combo in Cherry - HDV3 at The Home Depot
Thank you so much for posting this for me. You really did an amazing job and yes, IMHO, that sink was well worth your 40 hrs of search time. You have excellent taste... well, um..... in MY opinion. One of the things that really appeals to me about your decorating is that you have an eye for scale. It doesn't look like you'd have to walk sideways through your house in order to get from point A to point B. Me, I'm the kind of person who feels like you should be able to push a handtruck with an appliance loaded on it, without having to move furniture out of the way. I'm always in a hurry it seems and when things are too close....I get bruised legs!

Thanks you both so much for the kind words. There are so many gorgeous things that I'd love to have, but the size of my rooms limits what I can buy. Finding a balance between "comfortable" and "crowded" isnt easy. (Yes, beachmel, as small as my house is, you could push a handtruck through every room.) It was nice to be able to maneuver so easily when I had to use a walker after my stroke.

FYI: shipping on the vanity I bought is $100 but, if you buy two of the vanities, shipping is free.

Gorgeous neighborhood! I also like the area around Cherokee Park. We are ~ 1hr north and do bike races in L-ville a couple of times per year. Charming city.

Can you ask them where they got it? - I am in dire need of a new screen door and their front door is almost the exact same color as mine. It's adorable. - I noticed it had a decorative grating on the inside (I have a dog) and it is exactly what I had in mind.

I just called my client....... they actually had the guard fabricated for them, they have dogs......she said its aluminum, it was not expensive at all, less than $300..........the actual door can be ordered from Home Depot, I just got a pair of them for another client less than a month ago, it can be wood or aluminum.......hope this helped!

Okay, since I'm such an antsy pants, I'm going to post a few photos of what we've done so far in our living/dining areas.. We still need drapes and blinds!

kshe - the first photo is the huge wall I STILL need to do my series of 3 36"x36" pieces of art above. I think I've found the perfect ones, but I still need to order them!

Some of the photos are dark and kind of blurry, as they were taken at night WITHOUT a flash - that just completely ruined them! I'll get some day shots here in the next few weeks, hopefully!!~

NickMan, I saw the links in the email notice I got of your post but they arent here. When I tried to click on them in the email, I got a message that said "invalid link". Please re-post. I'm an antsy-pants about seeing other people's photos!
