Love the colors! I would paint the ceiling area in the bay windows the same color as the walls, it sticks out, kind of distracting.
What furniture are you planning on putting in these rooms?

We already bought an alabaster rustic bronze chandlier for the dining room. It comes with a dark bronze ceiling medallion. The carpet also matches the two wall colors. I plan on adding a 51/4" crown molding (color match with the chair rail) on the ceiling as well. I am looking for a dining room set that picks up the main color of that room - olive green. I am thinking something like old world/tuscany style. So far we have not found 'the one' yet :-()
Do you think the second 'photoshop' picture on the left looks too buzy for the living room?

Hehe..... sorry to confuse you more....LOL, and it IS your home and your decision, but for my taste, yep, it's too busy, especially the one with the herringbone and multicolored trim. Honestly, I don't like that particular stripe on the right either. It just seems to bright and busy. Again, it's only my personal opinion. Did you try the other stripe, the one on the page with the coordinating fabric swatches?

LOL... tell your hubby I like his taste! By the way, I really do like the bigger stripe. Did you see the "Venetian Scarlet"? I think that's what it was called. Anyway.....I love the shape on that middle panel, but not necessarily the flowers....do love the shape though. If you were to go with an "awning" shape there though, it should probably be quite shallow and on all 3 windows. Heck, if you went with the wide strip, you would still have an awning effect. Did I say I really like that wider stripe? LOLOL (Sorry kshegirl, please don't be offended, I just really think it looks great...what feels right to me). If you had a pleasing shape to it and threw on a solid trim, made sure it wasn't too long AND was something that had a deep sagey green pinstripe .....ooooh. You are so clever. What an excellent idea, using the photoshop to drop those fabric swatches on there. Can you imagine those stripes on some pillows. Like Kshegirl said, put away some of the original throw pillows, add some striped pillows and either a couple herringbone or solids (gold or silky sage)...pretty.

I will defenitely make a few accent pillows with this fabric. I just love the color blend and the diamond shapes. For the chairs, too? Yes?
