I couldn't vote. I need another option: "It Depends".
It depends on the style and the age of your home.
It depends on your personal taste and preference.
Would those work in my 1920's Tudor? Probably not.
In a hip, modern loft? Perhaps.
I do think if you go with a modern mirror such as that, you should keep the rest of the design as spare and uncomplicated as possible.
They are currently in a Georgian home we are purchasing. My personal taste is generally minimalist, so I kind of like them. My mother thinks they look like light bulbs. They are going with the owner so regardless I have to find something. Thanks for your input.
I like them but don't think they'd work in a Georgian-style home. Depends though on everything else in the room and the mix of styles. Could work in a room where it's more Deco-modern.
Do not like the unfinished edges. That's just a personal thing with me; I always want to see a mirror framed into something even if it's just a thin metal frame.
If you're replacing the mirrors with something else, I wouldn't use the same ones in that bathroom. The granite countertop and fixtures look more traditional.
they would be keepers in a really modern home. I don't know about over the bathroom sink though. more of wall decor in a hall or entryway.
I agree.
I like the mirrors, they are funky.
