hi experts,

I am considering buying a TSX 2007 which has an 'open recall' on carfax (Hose Leak). Car is under basic warranty.

Should I be worried? I have contacted the dealer and they said they will take care of this but I just wanted to be super sure if this should stop me from considering the car. Other than that the car is in excellent order.

Thanks in advance.

I have done some reading and I know the recall will be fixed by dealers free of charge. So that is not an issue. The question I have is...should this type of recall stop me from considering the vehicle. It's the "04-08 TSX POWER STEERING HOSE" recall.

No, buy the vehicle and get the recall done.

I would not worry at all. Just have the dealer perform the recall work, which they will do without a problem since Honda is paying for the fix.
