That was because of the earthquake in Japan. They couldn't export enough Hondas to begin to meet demand. I know people who bought the 2012 Civic, and felt lucky to have gotten one, because supplies were so limited.
There's one thing I can say about Hondas--they're the safest cars on the road capable of sustaining significant impact with little, if any, visible damage. I'm incredibly impressed. Great mileage, too. I used to be a Toyota fan, but I'm all for Hondas, now.
I think the Crosstour is the ugliest car ever made, I think we can all agree on that. But now they made the CRV look just like it! I mean the CRV went from a pretty nice looking small SUV to that abomination.
I think the Crosstour and CRV look really great. Unfortunately, the Crosstour costs more than I want to spend.
I also think the Insight looks really nice.
The Accord and Civic are just boring to me.

You have quite a unique taste in car styling being as you just named 3 of the ugliest vehicles that Honda has ever produced! At least that's just my opinion along with the opinion of millions of others.
I don't know what has happened to Honda over the past few years but I don't like it.
They used to be a sporty brand with generally conservative styling. However they did have some quirky, yet aggressive models, but now it seems as though Hyundai and Kia are filling that niche and Honda is battling Toyota for "most boring."
