Firm ride ensures better handling I would say. I think the V6 Accord have plenty of power as well. In general Hondas are more reliable than the Nissans.

An overly firm ride is the cheap way to improve handling. Properly dialed in suspension tuning can produce a comfortable ride while still offering great handling and body control.
