I do not know why would they put sports suspension in EX - 4cyl car!!!!. Planning to write a letter to honda...
Sell the car ASAP to minimize the depreciation hit. You're never going to get anything out of honda. They stopped listening to their customers years ago.

Just read the April 2013 Consumer Reports. They say the 2014 Accord ride is choppy!

You would think that someone spending that kind of money on a new car would actually test drive the darn thing and notice this stuff BEFORE buying the car and not after! This just states your taste in cars.. Not anything wrong with the Accord. You should have bought something else based on your taste, to make it sound like there is something wrong with the Accord is just obsurd. Sell it before it depreciates more and move on. Next time, test drive the car long and hard and pay close attention to what you are buying.

I took a test ride in a 2013 Accord Coupe EX V6 w/Nav a couple weeks ago and I also thought the ride was way to firm. The car had Michelins on it. Other than the very firm ride, I also didn't like the 2 separate info and nav screens. Looked ridiculous. I don't know what happened at Honda but they seem to have lost their way the past 4-5 years.

I bought the last of the new 2012 Accord 2 door coupe with V6, automatic on dealers lot. Yes, it rides like a sports car with plenty of power and a firm ride. We had a farm tractor that offered the same level of comfort.....head hit the roof going over small bumps, but heck I can swing around the turn pike like a bat out of hell. I love the little beast.

Oh for the love of god: Honda Accords ARE NOT KNOWN for their smooth rides. They are known to last forever, that's pretty much it. I say this as someone who has owned 3 Accord a minimum of 10 years each.

When I test drove the Accords in November I noticed this right away, but then again Accords ARE NOT KNOWN for a soft ride.

I was sick of the discomfort of the Accord and after weeks of test drives and days of research I got an Outback.

Comfort level to an Accord is night and day superior. We shall see about longevity.

The Accord was redesigned with new suspension geometry in the front. (Edmunds comments that it was done for cost cutting and improved safety rating - at the expense of riding comfort).
One way or another, it is noticeable harsh. I tested it a month ago and disliked the ride (considering NY streets in particular). That said, I decided against it mainly because CTV transmission is the only automatic tranny offered.

As a owner of a '83, a '97 and '03 Accords, I can attest to the firmness of the ride of the Accords. We had a Camry and it was night and day. However, our '03 V6 had so many body integrity issues that we decided to jump at the chance to get Lexus. Much quieter and handles but handles very nicely. Turns sharper than the last Accord, BTW. I tend to agree that Honda had lost their way. Here is hoping that they find the way back.
