I get a set of the manufacturer's electrical diagrams (for my specific vehicle) as shown in post number 2 above, then use a multimeter to track down the problem.
For people who do not know how to do that and are unwilling to read about these things and learn how to do it themselves, it is best to take the vehicle to a dealer repair shop.
Hi have the same problem on my 2009 accord, left front window, left mirror not working, and when you lock the car , it doesn't flash the lights and the boot don't open when unlocking. The passenger window switch is the problem, because I bent the pins on the plug a We bit that is plugged in to the switch, it worked for about a year, but packed in again now, must try it again, when I get a chance
2009 Honda Accord Tourer.Thanks to earlier contributors on this problem-- tailgate not opening, passenger front window not operating, passenger door mirror not operating, alarm not setting. A new window switch on the front passenger door solved the problem immediately and I have not had any further problems in the last month.
