Hideously impractical WAGON WHEELS on those Mercedes! And not much better on the Honda pictured.

Looks good, although Honda really needs to get on board with AWD. I'm also a little disappointed that there's no more V6.

Accord, Mazda 6, Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Chevy Malibu, KIA Optima, Hyundai Sonata, VW Passat 6 of one or a half dozen of the other.

When you get into this group, they are all a matter of taste. Not much difference between them. Personally I like the Fusion better for appearance, comfort and ride/noise. The Sport 6 is pretty fun to drive, but if you spend that much, you can get a really fun car used.

Accord is fine for a second car when someone is ready to take a small step up from the econo cars but not yet ready for a fun or comfortable car.

Although I would no longer purchase any of the appliances above, since I drove most (rental or owned) my vote goes for the Passat on that list, since it is has less of the boat like motion and has better classy looks...

It will grow on me. I'm a huge Honda fan. We love our '13 Accord Coupe. Right now, I look at the design of the new car and I do not lust over it. That's all I wanted from the new design. I wanted something that would make my passions lure me into a Honda dealership.

I really like the new Accord. I think it looks much better than the new 2018 Camry. Not trying to hate on Toyota, I like the 2017 Camry. The '18 just looks ugly to me.

The Fusion is a Aston Martin sedan and the Chrysler 200 is very small

2018 Honda Accord Officially Revealed! | News | Car and Driver
Test drive a 2018 Honda Accord EX-L this morning. I wasn't impressed. Looks like a 2017 Accord, just rounded in the back. Ride quality wasn't improved. December 2017 Motor Trend rated the Accord, the best, over Camry.

I am not sure which month Motor trend it was but they reviewed the 2018 Camry and the conclusion was that this is not your grand ma's Camry and the other ones in the class better step up.

Now caveat is I rarely see MT not liking anything they get their hands on.

I test drove a 2018 Accord Touring and was blown away by interior, the tech, all the bells and whistles. A *huge* step up from my 2005 Acura TSX.

I am pretty sure a 2018 Accord Touring model will be my next car... sometime late next year or in 2019 when I can pick one up for 25k or less.
