When we run the air conditioner, and the day is hot and/or humid, a lot of condensation forms on the outside of the windows...to the point that you can't see in or out. Being new to humidity AND air conditioning, what can I do to avoid this? Do I need to leave windows cracked a bit or ?
You obviously like it "meatlocker zone"!
The glazing in the windows is getting cold enough to condense the moisture outside (like a glass of ice water sitting on a counter).
Other than resetting the t/stat to a higher setting- replace the windows with thermo-panes.
