Has anyone used this tile as a kitchen backsplash? It's called "U.S. Ceramic Tile Hampton 4 in. x 4 in. Sand Porcelain Wall Tile." Link is below for a better look.

U.S. Ceramic Tile Hampton 4 in. x 4 in. Sand Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile - UWHM100-4 at The Home Depot

Yes, I understand it is from HD and there are far better (and much more expensive) options out there. Just wondering how it looks and if you are happy with your decision to use it.

the only person who has to like it is you. If it fits your budget and you like it, go for it. I've used HD and Lowe's tiles in several houses(rentals) and tenants love it. It's an upgrade and looks good. I'm sure yours will be just as spectacular.

Any time you put a tile with a "texture" (aka "skid resistant) in a kitchen you run a risk of having major "clean up" issues...

Chet, it would be used for a backslash. I already have a low granite backslash but for decorational purposes I wanted to continue it up to the cabinets. Have yet to have anything get on any of the backsplashes I've had, which includes multiple houses.
