Some people, like myself, paid a lot extra for wide plank and those grooves... too bad you couldn't just refinish it and make it work in that kitchen, especially for a flip... I'd have seen that as a great selling point

Well, they were trying to flip a place in summer '07 which probably wasn't such a bright idea to begin with...
