I wouldnt think safe for a sidewalk in front of the house...I am thinking like lawsuit here.....just sayin

Well I was impressed with the patten in which they laid out the wood. Redwood being so soft I wonder how long it would last in the weather. Is redwood insect resistant?

According to his write-up, the previous redwood sidewalk lasted 25 years.
