I am installing a light in a bathroom that I am finishing in the first floor of my house. When the room was being drywalled, the builder placed the electric box totally off from where I would like it for a light fixture. Its about 6 inches to the right down from where it needs to be.

What are my options to place a light in this room? Is the only option ripping the wall apart and moving the fixture? Can I run the wiring to be placed where I'd like the light to go? Is there a type of lighting that I can get that will allow me to have the placement of the electrical outlet be anywhere?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
