Family member just starting on oxygen at home. We need someting to cover the tubing on the floor in a door way. To protect the tubing from collapsing as foot traffic passes over the tubing. Any suggestions?

A hardware store should have a plastic threshold you can buy that you could just put over the tubing. That stuff is pretty durable, though.

They sell them for electric cords.
I'm surprised that the 02 company left your home with the hose just laying there.

Yeah, that type of product is used a lot to protect computer and power cables that have to cross an open space. It can be a trip hazard, so you might want to consider getting more tubing and running it OVER the door.

My mom was on Oxygen for 15 years, her tubes were all over the place. Foot traffic is not an issue unless you stand on the tube for a LONG time. The tubing is pretty sturdy and holds up well.
