I have very little water pressure coming out the shower also I'm not able to use hot and cold water at the same time. It either has to be cold or hot not in between. The hot water also finishes really quick.

I always remove the water saving pressure valve in my shower heads, but running out of hot water quickly may need to be considered in relation to your other faucets...if they also ru out quickly, this may be an issue with your water heater.
