While not familiar with the model your mention, unless it has a beater brush head it will not work that well on most any type carpet. Picture the type vac at the car wash. No beater brush in the head. I am not familiar with the built in hose type but dragging out the hose on our central vac was a pain in the butt.

We ended up having an upstairs and downstairs vac plus a hand held one for stairs alone. I only used the central vac for the cars in the garage. Now that we have downsized to 1500sq ft and no stairs, we have one vac with a furniture attachment.

Default The only way to go

Love it.
Had one for 22+ years old house. Aerus brand.
Cannot install one in new, über-modern current house. Grumpy.

We used to install them in residential back when I did tract housing. It was great. Most houses people ordered it as a option. The only thing is to make sure the installer knows what he is doing. Clean the bags. Every customer I ever had to go back and do a walk through on the electronics of the house loved them.
