Default Morgan style buildings

I have seen online some people turn them into homes - they look very nice.

A house in town built a garage / business with a display room..... it does not scream out metal building ..........the windows the trim all make it really adorable!

Would anyone care to share experiences living in such built homes?
Bills?
cost of building a home such as this?

And anything else?

Thanks in advance

Friend of mine did this using the 8 stall barn and loft building for their retirement/weekend home on the water. It was great! Each of the 14x14 stalls became a room: kitchen, bathroom, etc. they removed the walls from the stall that served as the living area opening it up to the 14 ft wide breezeway that ran the length of the building and used the area as living/dining. They had concrete stained floors on the first level. The loft had a beautiful pine floor and was one big room (w/a 1/2 bathroom) used as a studio/family room. It had fabulous light and loads of storage in areas that would reach over the other rooms. Perfect for a retired couple.

The only complaint they had was that the way they finished it out, they had to get creative to hang things on the walls. The place was very lovely and homey all at the same time.
