I have three young boys, so their bathroom is done in a Spongebob theme. The big decals on the walls are easily removed and I did mean to take them down before putting the house on the market, but I just never got to it.
Well, it seems I did a
good thing by leaving them up, because the family that is moving in at the end of the month told a neighbor that their 6-year old son went crazy for the Spongebob bathroom and no matter what other houses they saw, he kept telling his parents he wanted to move into the Spongebob house.
So, it just goes to show you - if you stage properly (in our case we were staged for a 6-year old boy
) you will atract a buyer.
