Default dirty grout

how do you clean white grout? In the past I have called a floor company
and they clean my carpet, and the grout. It sure looks fine for around 5 months. It also is expensive. My carpet will soon need to be replaced,
it was a cheap builder grade, however with pets, it was cheaper to such let in stay. I also have considered getting the oreck orbiter. However, I have not seen too many reviews on how great a job it does. It also does cost around 400.00 to 500.00. also the toothbrush does not do much.

My mom used to put on her gloves, then soak paper towels in bleach and put the paper towels in the grout lines. Got rid of a lot of stains that way.

Use Fantastic Spray or Lysol Bathroom Cleaner w/bleach. Spray the grout and use a scrub brush.

Go to your local hardware store you will find great stuff to clean your grout and won't take so much elbow grease, I have white grout on my bathroom walls, I use clorex bathroom cleaner and it works great.

this is the grout on the kitchen floor? At one time there was a product called fanzale which worked, now the stores no longer seem to sell it.

My husband and I just cleaned the grout in our whole house!! Good times He went to Home Depot and got some great cleaner. I don't know the name of it, but it came in a yellow bottle with black writing. You spray it on and it fizzes, go over it a couple of times with a scrub brush, and wipe it off with a cloth. Then when we were all done, I scrubbed the floor and then we re-sealed everything.

When you had it cleaned before, did they seal it?

Have you considered staining the grout? As you have seen, light colored grout is not practical on the floor. You can buy grout stain at Home Depot or Lowe's, and it is easy to work with.

WV gram is on a distinguished road
I have a fairly small bath room with a tile floor and the grout was looking grundgy, so I took an artist's paint brush and painted all the grout with regular latex wall paint. It took a little time, but it was well worth it. It looked great! Also, just a month ago we re-did the entire bathroom in my fiancee's house. Removed old wall paper, what a job, re-mudded the dry wall and painted it with 2 beautiful colors and all this made the tile grout look really yucky, because it was dirty. So with one of my wall colors, once again I got out the artist's paint brush and sat and painted every grout line. I was even more impressed with his than when I did mine. It looks just terrific and since it is latex semi-gloss, when I mop, it wipes up really well. Give it a try. If you get any on the tile, itself, it wipes right off, but stays on the grout.
