Our toilet tank water has musty smell. I poured bleach for few seconds and then flashed. The odor went away. It seems like i have to do this once a month. Anything else i can use or do.

Maybe replace the rubber and plastic parts (float, gaskets, etc.)?

If you do not use that toilet often, when you do use it hold the handle down so that the tank completely empties of water and refills with fresh water.
Do not put blue cleaners in the tank. It will rot the rubber parts, especially if it is not used often.

You might have to let the bleach sit over night. Put a full cup in and let it sit. The reason the smell returns is because you have killed "some" of the mold and bacteria but not "all" of them...if there are a few left behind they have enough to generate another culture of buggies. It's like the old rule...If you want your stew to last longer...never taste it and put the spoon with your mouth bacteria back in the pot...You "infect" the stew and cause it to rot. Bleach is wonderful stuff. I use it around the house all the time...usually diluted with water. Smells are caused by germs - kill the germs - smell is gone....just don't over use the stuff.
