I have the best flushing toilet in the world. It is Grandma's toilet with the tank above and the pull chain handle. I have to use 2 hands to pull the chain but when that baby lets go it's like a dyson on overdrive, and you'd better be standin back.
Can anyone tell me what they believe the strongest flushing toilet is that doesn't get stopped up easily? I have some Kohlers which aren't good flushers and stop up easily with a modest amount of toilet paper.
I had a guest use the Kohler and he ended up with water all over the floor. Now that doesn't say much for a Kohler.
and No, he didn't throw a toy or comb down the Kohler but just the ordinary stuff which a toilet should be able to handle without stopping up and causing a flood.
When I went toilet shopping early this year I wanted a classic design, and one that would live up to my son.
I shopped the Depot, found an American Standard that said "flush right" on it IIRC. I looked at the toilet yesterday to see if I could find the model but don't see it. I don't think I spent more then $150 on it but am very pleased with how it works. We've had it close to a year, so far so good. It even flushes what my daughter throws at it in toilet paper.
I hope that the toilets in the new house are as good as these. If not, I know it's a fairly cheap fix.
I purchased an American standard cadet and we are on a septic system and it just did have enough water to push causing it to not flush properly any suggestion for those who need strong flushing toilets with septic systems

A toilet's ability to flush- well or not- has nothing to do with it being connected to a public sewer system or a septic system.
I have no idea where this "crap" comes from; really!
I looked at one in Sam's Club yesterday that has two "speeds", press 1 for pee, press 2 for poop. LOL
