Is it normal to have condensation dripping down from one or more ceiling a/c registers in a humid climate.
Unsure if this is normal or something that needs to be addressed???
The AC coil is the coldest spot in the airflow. All condensation should occur there. Condensation at the vent is an indication of moist air around the vent being sucked into the cold dry air airflow.

There's several things that need to be addressed.
Air flow- Restricted filter (as previously mentioned) or restricted duct?
Improperly insulated boot (the metal part that the register covers)? Is it sealed, and sealed to the drywall properly (this is usually a number 1 problem, especially in older houses, when it wasn't required to be done)? The high pressure air exiting the register creates low pressure around the perimeter of the boot- and the seams inside the boot drawing hot moist air from the attic which condenses on the register.
Other things to consider and be aware of; rooms with high infiltration rates are more likely to have sweating registers (can lights, fart fans, poorly sealed/missing weatherstripping on windows, and other penetrations- especially those that have direct exterior connections can cause registers to sweat.
Turn the thermostat up to a more reasonable setting and run the fan continuously.
Then you're just paying to remove latent heat and then you're paying to put it right back into the living space. Not only is that a band-aid it's one of those band-aids that comes off when you get near water.
