I'm looking for the old style electric lights that you put in your windows for Christmas. They resemble a candle. I have found them with as few as 3 lights and as many as 8..........but I really want the single ones. I need 38 of them and I'm having trouble finding them. I sold some in a yard sale years ago and I now regret it after buying this grand old home!

I am wondering if anyone knows of a place I can purchase these without paying through the nose! The ones I have found are 15 bucks per light. Do the math............38 x 15 = $570.00 .............Not sure I want to spend that much!

Try Michael's or A.C. Moore.

I know I saw them last year but can't remember where I saw them.

What you are looking for is called an electric candle. If you are looking for quantity I might check e-bay first, then google away.

We have ours on every winter.... from about 11/15 thru 3/15....we have never had any problems. They are most likely a better brand

I think I bought mine at my local hardware store. The store sold two kinds the cheap ones for around a dollar and ones that were slightly more expensive 3 or 4 dollars. kept them up as long as martinez did and never had problems. i also purchased the flicker bulbs (for a dollar each) at my local country store. the flicker's make them look like real candles in the window. good luck with your search.

The ones on the website I posted....Solutions.com. I only had to replace the batteries at the beginning of winter when I put them out and then the next winter when I put them out again. I think they use two AA's....a pain when you are setting them up, we would run from room to room to make sure they were on the same schedule.
