I installed an indoor/outdoor tv antenna right out side our bedroom window (the only wood on the outside of the house) and all hours of the morning we have birds hanging out on the antenna, fighting and squawking, and waking me up to early. Is there an inexpensive way to keep them away?

You could try a plastic owl, but that probably won't work for long.

Awww how nice of you to install a perch for the birds! :-)

Seriously, find someway to mount it away from your window. They make screws that go through sheet metal, you didn't say what the rest of the house was made of.

The house is brick, and we are renting from my mother in law, so I don't want to make to many holes.

Owls and snakes only work a day or two unless you move them on a regular basis. Birds get wise to any stationary object quickly.

You can buy fake owls with heads rotate by solar power. I have no problems with birds, but I sort of want to buy one to see how it works.

Mothballs. Cut the feet out of panty hose and fill with MB's. Hang from antenna.

Mothballs are good to keep away all kinds of critters. We used to use them under our deer lease to keep away rattle snakes.

If that fails try a BB gun.
