The utility room of my recently purchased home has all sorts of holes in the wall where various wires, pipes and cables pass through (from the exterior to the utility room and also from the utility room to the rest of the house).
Eventually, I'd like to do some serious renovation of the space, but for now I just want to seal the holes. Not only am I concerned about the loss of thermal energy through the holes, but I also have noticed little "cave crickets" getting into the house through the holes.
Any suggestions for a canned spray foam to seal these holes? I need something that is a fairly quick and easy installation and is safe to use around the wires and pipes (particularly the pipes that lead from the furnace to the forced hot water baseboard heating system).
