I want to get a gym mat for boxing in a room that already has carpet, but I can't take off the carpet since it's my parents house. I want it to cover most of the room. I want the length to be 150 inches long and the width to be 130 inches. The room is going to be used for boxing, a stand up boxing bag which weights over 200lbs when filled with water and it does move if you keep punching it but I don't want the mat to move. Is the only way to make a mat this long is by putting several mat pieces together? What would be the best kind of mats for boxing? About how much would it cost?
