Has anyone purchased their toddler bed from IKEA? If so, how did you like it? I'm looking for something with side rails to bridge between the crib and a better quality twin or double bed.

I bought one for my DD at 12 months. She loves it and has never fallen out. And it took her a good few months to realize that she could climb out of the bed, so she stayed put.

Now at 21 months, she's figured out how to climb into bed over the railing, thus renewing her love for the bed. It's like a mini jungle gym! She has not attempted to climb out over the railing.

Her current bedroom is on the small side, so this was a perfect choice for us. And I enjoy having the storage space beneath, so that's why we didn't just do a mattress on the floor.
