Know how to care for older wall paneling of real pine?

Excellent shape...but after 40 yrs seems it might need a good cleaning or polishing...not sure what coating or stain might be on it...

Thanks

I have used Murphy's oil soap and then liquid gold to great success.

This.

My house (built in 1985) has a ton of tongue-and-groove paneling and my wife used Murpy's oil soap to clean it up. The previous owner actually left behind some Liquid Gold and so my wife used it. The stuff looks great in every room, like it was just installed yesterday.
