This can be used to cover any countertops/cabinets etc. It's super cheap, & easy to apply and remove and it will not ruin the countertops at all.

Bwahh-haa-haa! The 1960s have returned and they want your countertops! Good luck on her getting it off when she has to leave.

There are two types of contact paper that I found worth the money. The transparent stuff is fine for making cheap laminated paper documents for wet areas. There used to be a very heavy wood grain embossed one that looked like dark walnut. If properly applied to a smooth surface like cheap shelves, it looked ok. (NOT however, like Ford did with station wagons making woodies with heavy duty contact paper "wood.")

I can see this this young lady ending up with a big fix it bill, sense she was going to do the cabinets in a white contact paper as well! ... Anyone who ever pulled this stuff off cheap laminated/ fake wood shelves it's a nightmare, it pulls or removes the finish off as well! ...

I couldn't finish watching the video because it just makes me want to slap the stupid out of her.

Yes, it's a cheap easy fix and it will last a while provided she doesn't try to actually cook in there. The heat and steam from cooking will eventually make the cabinet paper yellowed and fall off, and the counter paper will tear and rip if she's dopey enough to slide anything on it. .... not to mention that it will get wet and start lifting up at the seams.

Some people should not be allowed to make 'how to' video's.

Makes me want to make a response video, where I dress redneck and earnestly show folks how to cover their counters with duct tape.

Gorilla tape is so much better and it comes in white or black.

You could even get creative and make a black and white checkered pattern!

The only way I could see this being a positive is if you are thinking about replacing your countertops and want to see how a particular color would look in your kitchen. Apply this and live with it for a few weeks to see if you like the color. Who cares about the countertops themselves since you will be replacing them anyways.
