Anything that has to go through or under concrete; anything that will be buried inside a wall are always better to be done during the building process. As previously mentioned- you would probably spend just as much or even more to do it as an afterthought. Especially if you consider "everything"- material(s), labor, your time, disruption and chaos.

New houses are for enjoying! Not remodeling!

Your prices seem a bit high compared to what I paid for these types of things in my soon to be finished new build. However, like others have said, anything that would involve a structural change or needed to be inside the walls, I went with having the builder do it. Even if you found someone to install electrical or plumbing for less, by the time you added in drywall patching and painting, the difference, if any, will be minimal.

Thanks all for your replies and after seeing all your replies I decided to just go with the builder I might lose out by 1-2k overall but as all have said it would give peace of mind and the house will be ready fully when i take it over.
