Hi, I just built a new home and now I'm going to put in a ingroud pool in Ky. Please note the following info.
1) I've got wiring for my pool ruffed in. I've got wiring ran for my electrical panel to the back of my home.
2) I'm putting in a 38 x 18 inground pool.
3) Salt water system.
4) Electric cover.
5) Natural Gas heater.

With that info, how much should it cost me to wire it?

Seems to me an electrician who could come to your house and look at what exactly needs to be done could give a more accurate estimate than people on the internet who can't see anything? Think about it!

So perhaps you should call a few local electricians instead?

The OP is in KY, I'm thinking its more like $3514.72, unless the equipment is on the left side of the pool. Then it would likely be $3129.29. If the heater if further than 22 3/16" away from the filter, that could add another $19.99, per foot.

Or they could get a local electrician and give an accurate estimate.

You might have overlooked one thing-
Not enough additional capacity in the breaker panel. Will have to change the 200amp panel for a 300amp panel! And the meter base will have to be changed also-

Add $7,473.83 to the bill!

The salt water pool equipment might have a ridifont adapter. That, along with a secondary perfilceptilator will add at least another $2800 to the cost. With the added ampacity. there could be a huge megaflux anticipator demand that could add a a huge amount to the anticipated estimate, from thousands of miles away.

Who knew???????

We recently paid $2,350 for the electrical for our in-ground pool. Nothing was roughed out in advance, and we didn't get a heating element, but we did have it double grounded and 2 led lights installed in the pool. Plus the cost of the permit.

Can you explain to me what you mean by "double grounded"? What exactly was done and what did they charge?
