I'm wondering who's got one, if it is hand-cranked, and if you had problems with it or are happy.

Can these be homeowner-installed? I'm thinking of one on the patio to shelter a few garden tools and chairs and to provide general shade. It would be no more than ten feet across, maybe a bit less.

It's that or a pop-up canopy!

Thanks.

We had a Sun Setter for around 12 years. It was one the was pulled out by a strap and had a lock to keep it open. It rolled rolled up by itself.

I installed it. It was not an easy job, but the directions were excellent. I even took it down and put it back up a few years ago when we repainted the house. We were very pleased with it.
