Gabby, yes.
I just recently purchased a dryer.
Got the discount at the time dryer was originally for 690 at the time it was on sale for 630.
I used my veteran id card tan one and got the price down to 567. After taxes I think I paid around 610.
Don't forget to ask for 5% discount if you charge to HD credit card. You have to ask for the discount if you are charging to the HD credit card. It is not automatic like Lowe's is with their card.
Home Depot is just a couple of minutes from my shop and Lowes is about 3 minutes further. I do go to Lowes more though because they seem to have a better selection of the bolts and tools that I use than HD. They also seem to have more associates there to help you too.
I generally support mom & pops, or smaller chains (even tho' they're typically more expensive & offer less variety, but usually have better customer service)..
I've skipped going to Home Depots all together, bcuz of their cozy relations with 'undocumented workers'. I used to occasionally go into their Hollywood location (on Sunset). But every time a guy in a truck or van tries to leave the parking lot, you're literally swarmed by a zombie-like mob of aspiring landscapers. It's like a scene from the Americans final withdrawal of Vietnam.. dudes grapping onto the last ride out. Home Depot seems indifferent to the dangers & annoyance this poses to their paying customers (?) Maybe someone can speak more to their corporate policy..

You get the veterans discount combined with other discounts ALL the time? You can stack them every day? We can only use the vet discount every day.
Oh, no, not combined discounts all the time. But with an ID card, at least the military discount all the time. But that depends on the kind of discount. They don't apply it in conjunction with program discounts, but they do apply it to sales.
Yeah. Well with Memorial Day coming up you can get the 10% veterans discount plus other discounts on that day. Doesnt work for things like clearance sales...but can add up.
