Around a month ago my son noticed that water was dripping from the tile around his shower. I was hearing dripping when in the master bathroom, but thought it was due to all the rain we had. Then, last week the upstairs bathroom seems to have water oozing out between the floor tiles. It is baffling.

I had a plumber affiliated with our home warranty company come out. He said he could see no reason for the problem and would have to rip out the tile to find out what was going on. Being a home warranty guy, he was not allowed to do that.

I then called the contractor we used to do some remodeling when we bought the house last year. He thinks it could be a roof leak, but when I mentioned the water oozing out of the floor tile he said he would come by tomorrow to check it out.

As the house is still under warranty I would hope that whatever the problem is would fall under that. However, being unable to diagnose the problem I'm not sure this is possible.

Ideas, anyone?

Can you be a bit more specific; I'm not understanding exactly what you are describing.

Well, I can't seem to figure out how to post the pic that I have saved on my desktop.

The original dripping is coming from the tile surrounding the top of the downstairs walk in shower. Close to the ceiling and above the shower curtain. There are no water stains on the ceiling itself. Then, a couple of weeks later, the upstairs bathroom has water oozing out of the floor tiles.

I just don't know what to think.

It was the A/C condensing unit leaking in the attic.

I never understood why some areas put the AC in their attic.

It beats having the water heater in the attic like they do in Texas.
