It happens all the time, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I live on a corner lot so my trash can is pretty close to the sidewalk as opposed to the mid-block houses where trash cans are located on the alley. On any given week there can be from 1 to half a dozen or more little bags of dog poo left in my can. I cannot for the life of me imagine why that would bother me, unless there were so many additional deposits that I couldn't fit my own trash in the bin. If someone is bothered by their trash can smelling like trash, that seems like a problem with them.

The OP moves the garbage can from inside the garage out to the curb for pick up....leaves for work. And after the garbage is picked up....some nice considerate person throws their dog poop into his empty garbage can. I would be PO'd too...Choices, clean up someone else's dog crap, or live with that smell all week going to and from the car, working in the garage, etc....
What's not to get...lazy folks infringing on someone else.
