At least you have a beautiful supervisor......

We have a lawn sweep thingy but I have no idea how it works.

Why not mow over it with a mulching blade several times and leave it on the lawn?

I have had great luck on similar and larger size properties by going to the local day labor hangout and saying:
"Senor, necesito hoja de rastrillo". That usually will bring a lot of prospects as its a low skill task.

Go to equipment rental service. Rent lawn vacuum/shredder, and go to town. Piece of cake.

Don't try to do it all at once, do it over several days, or for a half hour or hour and take a few hours rest and start again.

Go over it with a mower and mulch all the leaves into the bag.

Dump the contents of the bag into a pile somewhere. Not only will they not blow around all winter, next summer you will have terrific compost.

Top soil in the making. Whatever you do, don't pile them up in the woods. Contrary to what many people think, doing so is not "natural" at all--it kills everything underneath. They would be great for a compost pile for a garden, though. I just mow my leaves--but yours are rather thick.

Some people pay for gym memberships to be healthy. Think of it as a free way to stay healthy and live a long life.
