Okay i think this could possibly be a reason. I normally wash my hair only once a week but there has been times when i only wash it once every 2 weeks.
Yes i have very oily hair and oily skin as well. Thought my skin doesn't ever touch the pillow.
And i do sweat quite a bit. However, i always am like this though so if that was the case, why do the pillows i used before never had this issue then?
I rented an apt that came fully furnished so it came with mattress and everything.
I shower daily.
I do not use any hair products at all anymore. By that i assume you mean gel etc.
Just wondering...you shower daily yet sometimes don't wash your hair for 2 weeks? Dude, your already in there, just do it!
I'm sorry, but this is a bit ridiculous, isn't it? This is the equivalent of someone saying, "Gee, can anyone tell me why is my underwear is all filthy? I wipe every 5th time I take a dump."
Okay i just smelled it and yes there is a bit of odor. I never go and spell my pillows.
However, i have had oily hair/skin and don't wash my hair enough... i been doing this basically forever. If thats the case, why did my previous pillows never had this issue then?

I think that the source of the problem is fairly obvious.
Okay if my oily hair is the issue... then why is it i never had my previous pillows had this issue ever.
I would suggest that your first focus should be on your hygiene.
Once you have become more scrupulous in that regard, then you might want to explore the differences between different brands of pillows.
Just curious but would any of you try washing these pillows in a washing machine? I just read that people wash their dirty yellow pillows though i never done this ever. I will be buying a new pillow but curious if anyone here has washed a pillow before.
Also i would say these pillows are worst than yellow.
A family member who only washes their hair once a week also has a pillow that looks like that. If you are handy with needle and thread, you can remove the cover and wash that and sew it back together afterwards. I would think washing an entire pillow leaves it all clumpy.
