According to my wife they lack esthetic appeal but they are great to use in low visibility locations. Hide them away inside cabinets or on the inside of your screen doors or window frames. (for home made removable screens or storm windows too) They are best painted to help them blend in with the background."

Turn buttons are for "picture frames".
No I don't want screen clips. Turn buttons are exactly what I want.

These hangers are good since the window can be swung outward while still hanging from the hangers. Handy for letting moths or geckos out of the house.
I saw the one wing types were available too. Those may work better for me, given the space I am working with, I'm not sure yet. The one wing ones might be more difficult for my arthritic fingers to manipulate.

That's where pliers come in handy. I have a small plier that helps me turn knobs, and get's screw caps off of olive oil bottles and milk caps when they're attached to the plastic safety rings. It works great for opening pull top cans too. My fingers just don't have the strength they used to.

This is what I want. But the type that operates with a screw, to hold something in place, except when you want to release it.

I KNOW they make them, I've seen them but I can't think what they are called. They are kind of.....butterfly shaped but very narrow wings.

Glazier points....unless someone beat me to it!

I have some.
