I am having a difficult time finding ceiling mounted curtain rods. When I do find them, they're more than $35, which is more than I want to pay. Does anyone know where I can find one? Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology or something.

Is there a way to mount a standard curtain rod to the ceiling? The brackets for regular curtain rods don't look like they could be used to mount the rod from the ceiling.

I need it mounted from the ceiling so I can use it as a privacy curtain for a room that has no doors. Adding doors there would be a real pain, so hopefully this will work.

Umm...
I said I was looking for something UNDER $35. Shipping on that site is $25. The parts cost $21.44 and that's not including the mounting hardware (screws, anchors). That puts the total at $46.44. Thanks anyway.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

I'm not even sure if these curtains are going to work for the intended purpose. So I don't want to put a lot of money in them. My best guess is that they ultimately won't be used.

I did see two ceiling brackets on Home Depot's website for just under $13.00. Now I have to find a rod. My internet connection is so slow, it's almost as bad as 28k dialup. Ugh!

Is there an Ikea in your area? They have a very good selection. You can find some made by Umbra on Amazon.

How heavy are these curtains going to be?

I'd suggest a couple of those ceiling hooks used for hanging lamps and a painted dowel or a bamboo pole that fits in the hooks.

This is probably what you are looking for. No idea on price but they are available. Just make sure you mount them properly if you are going to hang a working curtain/drape on them.

Oh; I got the $35 request. I ignored it because I assumed you wanted the curtain(s) to actually stay ATTACHED TO THE CEILING! So, with that response you either don't understand physics or economics- and I certainly wasn't suggesting you had to buy from that website.
