I am about to order home depot garage door install roughly $3k, they have 15% off directly applied, I was wondering if I can get further discount? I heard people get 10% off with gift cards or coupon, but I do not know how to get them since I rarely shop Homedepot.
That sounds awfully expensive if it is a standard job. I had a garage door opener installed by my handyman and his son last summer for $670 including the cost of the (heavy duty) opener. My garage is detached and had never had a garage door opener before. It has a very high ceiling inside so he also had to do some carpentry to accommodate it. He did a great job.
Definitely find someone else to do it. HD just hires a private contractor themselves and tacks on a big mark up. HD isn't installing anything themselves and I'm sure if you read the fine print it will say that the installers do not work for HD. With HD, you're just paying a middle man for no reason.

Thanks in advance
That's a insane amount for a door and opener. Shop around. I paid 1400 for my sectional and opener installed by a small garage door co.
