Some cool ideas but they aren't practical or affordable. Sand in the house seems like a nightmare!

And wouldn't that indoor fire table pose a carbon monoxide hazard, not to mention the amount of soot that would be deposited on the interior? The pit at least had a chimney, like a fire place, but the open table....don't know about that.

The stair book cases and understair storage ones are cool!

Some of them would be fun, some make no sense (the glass bathroom floor?), and some are just impractical. They're all pricey, no doubt.

As for the sand ... A frat at my college had a beach party and trucked in sand for the floor. The floor promptly collapsed, and the frat was kicked out of the university.

And then there's the cat issue, as someone else mentioned.
