Heat Pump Brands, specifically Rheem (air conditioning, warm, electric, better)

My air conditioning went out and I'm looking to replace with a Rheem unit, anyone have any experience with them?

No personal experience, but it's one of the better brands.

Too many variables at play. What model? Multiple stages? Paired with a variable speed air handler? Dehumidification mode?

I hate heat pumps! It's only warm air when you need it, but maybe that's all we need down here. Don't want to use the emergency heat on them either cuz your electric bill will fly right thru the roof. I know!
