^^^ A shirt like that, what pile should I wash the clothes in? With the bright all whites or the colored? The shirt is dirty so I like to wash it in warm to get the stains out, is that fine?

Turn it inside out and wash it with your whites.
I wash my white clothes in cold water and it works well.
You might have to add a little bleach every few washes to keep it from turning yellow.

If there are stains, then pretreat before washing. Avoid the dryer - hang to dry in the sun if possible. That will help keep the white bright and give a second chance on any stains that didn't come out in the wash.

Whites; and some bleach.
Most print on t-shirts today is not effected by regular washings.
