You may raise your kids right, but that doesn't mean everyone else does. Civilization gives a false sense of security, but reality is there will always be adolescents trying to figure out their place in the world. Gets even more unfortunate when the adolescent garbage is coming from 50 yr old men. ROFL

I was going to install a heavy duty post and box when I first built my house, but then changed my mind. I didn't want to be responsible for some young mom that was too stupid to buckle her kid in while she was talking on the phone. Running into a barrier like that would put the kid through the windshield for sure.

I opted for a spike attached to a 4x4, with a Rubbermaid box. If it gets hit, it will simply fall over. I'm glad I went for that. I just recently found out that armored boxes are illegal in my area.
